In the face

With a metal bat?

Tied ‘bout the waist

And then scratched

By the fingernails

Of a cat?

Strung upside-down

By your ankles

And then whipped

In your armpits

By an angry clown?

Yep, it’s ridiculous

But that’s how I felt.
